Discovery World Furniture produces quality kids furniture including youth beds and bunk beds.Their production standards are designed to meet or exceed all of the current ASTM (American Standard for Testing and Materials)  standards for bunk bed and loft bed safety including:

  • Guard rails placed on both sides of the top bunk, with the back guard rail the entire length of the bed.
  • Openings small enough so that a child’s torso cannot pass through, or large enough so that the child’s torso and head can pass through.
  • Bunk Beds can accommodate at least 400 pounds of pressure.
  • Bolts are firmly secured and anchored through posts.
  • Ladders are securely fastened.
